Lisa DeGraff, LCSW

From my many years providing therapy to children and families, serving learners as a teacher and guide, and most importantly as a parent myself, I have gained tremendous empathy and a deeper understanding of the child, parent, and family experience.

The biggest lesson in my life to date is one that I continue to confront, squirm and delight in: viewing my life, and others’, as a process, a journey. I have worked hard to follow my intuition and walk towards the path that provides me with further wisdom, belief in myself, trust in humanity, and seemingly endless growth. This lesson requires me to allow and accept the many seasons of life that come and go as they are designed to do. These continual deaths and rebirths provide us with the strength to try again and the capability and space to receive new gifts.

On my journey, I have acquired a colorful variety of personal and professional experiences that have overjoyed me, challenged me, and ultimately guided me as a more self-aware, empathetic mental health practitioner, teacher, and parent. I would love to walk with you and your child as you navigate your own journeys ahead.
